Use the Pegasus Boots to dash across the gap and continue following the path until you reach the Ukuku Prairie. From there, head east until you find a sign pointing towards the Animal Village.
Follow the sign’s directions and continue along the path until you come across a series of bushes. Use your sword or another weapon to clear the bushes, revealing a hidden staircase leading down into the Animal Village.

Now, head to Toronbo Shores and find Sale, the alligator who enjoys his meals. Offer him the Dog Food, and he will give you the Bananas in return.
Step 5: Give the Bananas to Kiki
Travel to Kanalet Castle and locate Kiki, the monkey who loves to eat bananas. Give her the Bananas, and she will happily throw a Stick at you.
Step 6: Give the Stick to Tarin
Return to Mabe Village and find Tarin near the entrance. Hand over the Stick to him, and he will kindly offer you the Honeycomb.
Step 7: Give the Honeycomb to Papahl
Make your way back to the house in the northeastern part of Mabe Village and give the Honeycomb to Papahl. He will be grateful and give you the Pineapple in return.
Step 8: Give the Pineapple to Chef Bear
Lastly, go to Animal Village and locate Chef Bear in the kitchen. Present him the Pineapple, and he will be delighted. As a token of gratitude, Chef Bear will finally reward you with the Shovel.
